The police follow Elise Ward (Angelina Jolie) everywhere hoping to catch her long missing boyfriend, Alexander Pearce, who stole billions from a powerful mobster. To throw them off the scent of her boyfriend, Elise strikes up a friendship with an American tourist with a similar physique, Frank Tupelo (Johnny Depp), making the police and the angry mobster think Frank is the missing Alexander and placing him in danger.

ClearPlay In Action!

ClearPlay trims a little immodesty and around fifteen swear words. The movie ClearPlays well, even on full filters, and would be appropriate for teens and anyone who can tolerate mediocrity for long periods of time.

Will This Be An Enjoyable Tour?…

This had to look great on paper. Good story idea. Great stable of actors. Beautiful locations. But besides a couple of good lines and a decently tense climax, this is a hollow movie where the director deliberately attempts to insure your pulse never becomes elevated. The story was obviously shooting for the mystery, thriller, romance genre, but it is so tepid as to fail with all three. While some may argue the point, I found the twist at the end absurd. If you must watch an Angelina Jolie film this weekend, try Salt, instead. If you must watch a Johnny Depp film, try Finding Neverland.
