Promised Land

Steve Butler (Matt Damon) and Sue Thomason (Frances McDormand), are two high-powered but charming representatives of Global, a natural gas company looking to buy up land in a farming community for excavation purposes.  It seems to be a slam dunk – the farmers need money and Global is offering a lot – but the company meets some unexpected resistance from savvy townsfolk and an environmental activist (John Krasinski).  Read More>>>
