Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol

As a kid, I watched the original Mission Impossible TV series. I don’t think I understood a second of it — its complicated plots were just as twisty back then — but those mysterious tape recordings boding, “As always, should any of your I.M. Force be caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions,” well, I was hooked. In Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, the “ghost protocol” is what happens when the entire IMF is disavowed. The team, led by Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is forced to go rogue to stop a potential nuclear holocaust. Let the games begin!

ClearPlay In Action!

ClearPlay’s real work in this PG-13 actioner is for violence, trimming gruesome images from the mayhem. There’s still plenty of fighting to be had, so use discretion with younger viewers.

Is the MO for MI standard operating procedure?…

MI: Ghost Protocol is the perfect blend of incredible stunts, clever plotting, and wise–guy humor. The set pieces for the action, including the vertigo–inducing Burj Dubai, are an eyeful, and the movie’s 133 minute running time seems to fly by faster than a tape can self–destruct. If you can understand the plot, that’s just a bonus.
