ClearPlay In Action!ClearPlay trims a handful of innuendo and bad language (of the mild variety) and clips a couple of gruesome deaths (usually by sword impalement). Mermaids feature prominently in the story, and the movie does a good job of keeping it clean with just a little assist from ClearPlay. For teens and up.
Should Set Sail for the Caribbean??…Can I say this? I am tired of Jack Sparrow. The quirky character became the symbol of the franchise and it just feels like the whole thing has run out of gas. On Stranger Tides does improve on the dreadfully convoluted plots of the last two with a straightforward race story, and the sets and cinematography are on par with the others. But at two hours and fifteen minutes, it was overlong and strangely dull. The best bit was the vicious mermaid attack, which provides a nice contrast to Disney's The Little Mermaid.
